POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

All members of the leadership team are expected to:

  • Demonstrate strong interest

  • Be willing to make the time commitment

  • Contribute to the Bee Blog with engaging content

  • Recruit new members and advertise the organization’s mission

Board of Advisors

  • Board Advisors are college students who are pursuing a degree in music. They will provide advice on the overall direction of MelodeeBee Music, lead occasional masterclasses, and participate in quarterly meetings.

Director of Operations

  • The Director of Operations is responsible for organizing the logistics of events, handling administrative duties, ensuring strong internal communication, and keeping plans on track.

Director of Outreach

  • The Director of Outreach will use social media to connect with the public and create advertisements/media projects to recruit new members and reach students. They will also build relationships with other organizations and sponsors for partnership.

Director of Finance

  • The Director of Finance is responsible for organizing fundraising activities, researching and applying for grants, handling nonprofit financial needs, budgeting, and documenting expenses.

Director of Mentorship

  • The Director of Mentorship is responsible for recruiting qualified mentors, assisting Presidents in reviewing mentor applications, training and providing assistance to mentors when needed, and developing creative ideas for the mentorship program.
